The Lake Country Film Festival is more than a collection of exemplar student made films. It is visual expression. It is creative art. It is a digital showcase. Each film submitted into the Lake Country Film Festival gets a chance to win an LC Award! The month of February is “Submission Month.”The window to submit is Feb. 1st to Feb. 28th. Start making your films NOW!
For each category of films the audience will vote for their favorite film in each category. At the end all the votes are tallied up for audience choice and overall Lake Country Film Festival winner “BEST IN SHOW!” 2016’s winner was The Drummer by: Charles Liu

The LC Award is the premier award given to winners in each of the eight film categories, the overall viewer’s choice winner of the LC Film Festival, and individuals who demonstrate excellence in production of the films. These awards are made possible by the Imagine a Day Foundation.
Students all over the state, especially the Lake Country Area, are encouraged to begin developing and planning films to submit to the 2019 film festival. The festival will be held on Friday April 5th, 2019. Pick a category, plan and create your film, submit your film in February, and showcase at the 2019 Lake Country Film Festival!
